Positivity

We value working with a team of people toward a common goal and knowing that everyone is engaged and connected.

We encourage a work-life balance in which people put 100% effort into their work, but have enough time in their life to recharge. We embrace continual learning, connection to the team and organization, and personal thriving.

Ours is a culture where no idea is too outlandish, where the level of difficulty of a problem poses more excitement as it grows, and the problems being solved are meaningful.
Relationships
OUR VALUES
Relationships
Have an ethic of care

Building relationships starts with genuinely caring deeply about our work and the people we work with. We understand that our well-being (as people, as a company, as a society, and as a planet) relies on us coming together and taking collective responsibility.

Our relationships with our customers and with each other are the most important thing to us. We actively cultivate our relationships to ensure that our clients and employees are not just satisfied, but proud to be affiliated with us.
Integrity
OUR VALUES
Integrity
Make the right choice, and the choice that is right

Integrity is a characteristic that we value in ourselves and in others. Having integrity means always defaulting to transparency and openness. It means being attentive and listening actively and deeply. It means being both dependable and responsible.
Entrepereneurship
OUR VALUES
Entrepreneurship
Take smart but competent risks

Taking risks is inherent to what we do. We welcome new ideas and go where curiosity leads us. To us, innovation is empowerment. Not every idea will succeed, but we’ll never know unless we try. We strive to continually improve our skills, ourselves, our relationships, and our outcomes. We take risks but build in measurements, reflection, and room for growth. We strive to think independently and work collectively.
Positivity
OUR VALUES
Positivity
We live by the age-old credo: “Don’t be a jerk!"

We are people who are passionate and enthusiastic, and who actively work to build a positive team spirit. We show gratitude, are humble and don’t take ourselves too seriously. We have a lot of fun. We want people to smile often, and make others smile even more often.

We are people who care about the whole person, not just the working person. We find ways to grow not only our professional relationships but personal ones, too. We recognize others’ needs and respond to them through understanding and empathy.

Cathy Lund D.V.M.
Industry Liason

Cathy Lund, DVM, loves cats! They are so important to her that she opened City Kitty Veterinary Care for Cats, the first cat practice in RI, more than 20 years ago. She served as the delegate for “the small but mighty” state of RI in the American Veterinary Medical Association, and promotes cats in her position as a director for the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She is a frequent speaker on cats and their emotional and medical concerns and helps veterinarians learn to think like a cat. Dr. Lund was awarded the 2007 AVMA Meritorious Service Award for her work as board president and founder of the Companion Animal Foundation, a statewide, veterinary-based nonprofit organization that helps low-income pet owners afford essential veterinary care. She was veterinarian of the year in RI in 2010. Dr. Lund shares her home with her husband, Dr. Peter Karczmar, and their three handsome cats. She currently serves on several architectural and preservation commissions in the city of Providence, but her absolute favorite activity is to promote the countless virtues of the purr-fect pet, the cat!
